Drug Detection Dogs

Delta Security NI Ltd is the first company in Northern Ireland to offer the services of Drug Detection Dogs to the public and private sectors.

Our Dogs operate in two ways.

1. Passive Detection Dogs - These dogs are used for body scanning. The dogs are trained to work a moving or static queue of people. When it makes detection it will sit down beside the person concerned giving the handler a positive indication.  Passive detection dogs always work on a lead with a handler.

2. Pro-active Detection Dogs - A Pro-Active Detection Dog is used to search a wider area i.e. indoor/outdoor events, buildings, vehicles etc. These dogs operate off the lead but still under the control of the handler.Delta can provide Detection Dogs to cover any clients requirements.
